Phase 5 - Construction

Phase 5, Construction is when the project finally gets to “break ground.” Once Vanderbilt Family Builders and the client have agreed upon a budget and sign a construction contract, construction can begin on the project. This is the final step of the design / build process.

Vanderbilt will appoint a project manager that will be available to answer all of your questions during the course of construction. The project manager will be responsible for scheduling all the crews and subcontractors needed to expedite your job.

The Project Manager will put together a schedule of your project with complete with ordering and construction deadlines for owners. Vanderbilt prefers that selections be made early in the construction process. Delays in selections of items such as windows, doors, hardware, or millwork and the subsequent material backorders are a couple of the common causes of project delays.

As the project timeline progresses you will see your new home, addition or remodel take shape right in front of your eyes, on time and on budget.
